1. What personal information we collect

The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with us, and may include:

  • Account information: your login details, and whether you have registered as a homeseller or a real estate agent.
  • Property information: the address of the property being styled, access instructions (such as parking, lift access, or entry codes), and the package and rooms selected.
  • Booking and payment information: booking history, invoices, and payment confirmation. We do not store your full credit or debit card details — these are handled directly by our payment processor.
  • Property media: photos, videos, and floor plans you upload as part of the booking process, used to plan and confirm the styling of your property.
  • Communications: records of emails, phone calls, and other correspondence between you and us, including complaints and feedback.
  • Website and app usage information: device information, IP address, browser type, and how you interact with our website and app, generally collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Agent referral and rewards information: if you register as an agent, details of properties referred and rewards points accrued under our agent rewards program.

2. How we collect personal information

We collect personal information directly from you when you:

  • Create an account or make a booking through our website or app;
  • Upload property photos, videos, floor plans, or access details;
  • Contact us by phone, email, or through our website or app;
  • Respond to our marketing communications or engage with us on social media.

We may also collect personal information from third parties, such as a real estate agent acting on your behalf, or from publicly available sources, where reasonably necessary for us to provide our services.

3. Why we collect, use, and disclose personal information

We collect, use, and disclose personal information for the following purposes:

  • To provide our styling services, including scheduling installation and collection, and planning the styling of your property based on the photos, videos, and floor plans you provide;
  • To process payments and issue invoices and receipts;
  • To communicate with you about your booking, including confirmations, reminders, and updates;
  • To operate our agent rewards program, including tracking referrals and rewards points;
  • To respond to enquiries, complaints, and feedback;
  • To send you marketing communications about our services, where you have not opted out (see Section 8);
  • To improve our services, website, and app;
  • To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, including under the Australian Consumer Law; and
  • For any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection, or with your consent.

4. Photography and marketing use

As set out in our Terms & Conditions, we may photograph and/or video styled properties for our records, portfolio, website, social media, and marketing materials. Where this includes identifiable personal information, we handle it in accordance with this Policy. Before using any photo, video, or footage for marketing or portfolio purposes, we take reasonable steps to ensure no sensitive personal documents, mail, screens, or other identifying material belonging to you are visible.

If you do not consent to photography or wish to restrict the use of images, you must notify us in writing prior to your Installation Date.

5. Disclosure of personal information

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose personal information to:

  • Our employees and contractors, including installation and collection crews, to the extent necessary to deliver our services;
  • Payment processors, to process payments securely;
  • IT service providers and platform developers who host, maintain, or develop our website and app;
  • Our insurer, in connection with insurance cover for our Styling Items or in the event of a claim;
  • Transport providers and trade partners engaged to deliver add-on services (see clause 2.5 of our Terms & Conditions);
  • Our professional advisors, including our accountants and legal advisors, where reasonably necessary;
  • Regulatory authorities or law enforcement, where required or authorised by law; and
  • A prospective buyer of our business, in the event of a sale, merger, or restructure, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

Where we disclose your personal information to a third party, we require that third party to handle it in a manner consistent with this Policy.

6. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers, including the developers who build and maintain our website and app, may be based, or may store or process data, outside Australia. Where we disclose personal information to an overseas recipient, we take reasonable steps to ensure that recipient handles your personal information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles, including through contractual confidentiality and data-handling obligations.

Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send you transactional communications related to an active or past booking, such as booking confirmations, invoices, and service updates.

Our website and app may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, understand how our website and app are used, and improve our services. You can adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies, however this may affect the functionality of our website or app.

Our website may contain links to other websites, including social media platforms. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any site you visit via such a link.

10. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Where personal information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

11. Access, correction, and complaints

You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details in Section 12. We will respond to your request within a reasonable time.

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, or you are otherwise dissatisfied with how we have handled your personal information, please contact us in the first instance. We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days and endeavour to resolve it within 10 business days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
